Glad I brought the Escapé or else the 250 wouldn’t have fit anywhere.

Spent too much money on a candle. But I did see this cutie.

I went to Costco this morning, got there about 20 minutes before opening, as I filled up at the adjacent gas station. When they opened the doors about 10 minutes before official opening, there were maybe 50 people waiting. By the time I got out, about 30-40 minutes later (had to make a few laps looking for something apparently not sold this season) , it was already becoming a zoo.

Now I am done aside from buying a few scratch tickets, yay.

I even went to Target on Christmas Eve last year for a last minute idea and it seems so much more civilized. I'm pretty sure at the neighboring Walmart they were arming cashiers with cattle prods.

I bought a car in Nova and  drove it home on 95 as my first trip with it today. That was nerve wracking.

For the first time ever, I managed to get the entirety of my Christmas and Hanukkah shopping done without setting foot in a single mall.

Tomorrow and Monday will be gongshows, especially with the way parking lots are laid out around here.  And Tuesday , if they are open, may whatever one believes in have mercy.  I am glad I am done with my little list, I can sit back and watch the insanity.

The cats ran out of dry food last night. They’ve been reminding me. I have them wet food and this idiot immediately gorged himself and threw it back up. Guess I’m braving the grocery store today. Here he is helping with Christmas present wrapping - yes his head is through the handle

I am learning that the new Tae Kwon Do studio next to Target creates a lot of traffic. Ad that to Christmas shoppers, and I have found out that mid day Saturdays is the wron g time to get groceries at Target.
